You just had a peek into one workshop … let me say a little more about what you can expect when you participate. Yes, you!

You’ll leave with new ways to interrupt any conversation of despair to offer a more promising view of the future.
You even get time, while you’re there, to plan the strategic steps to put into action what you’ve gained ... all the way to the detail of who you’re going to see, what you’re going to say to begin the conversation … but only if you want to do that. Because one surprising feature of this experience is that you can return home with absolutely nothing added to your to-do list.
Instead, you’ll have something far more important to these days: a renewed outlook on how to do things you’re already doing. A perspective that makes all the difference in your ability to influence those around you.
I recorded a 3-minute video that tells you a bit more about my aspirations for you when you take advantage of this unusual experience. Click here to take a peek.
So right now, let’s get you ready to design the Best 2011 … with intent, purpose, and the secret ingredient of grounded confidence. (Well maybe you already believe confidence is important, but do you know it? Do you feel it in your bones every day?)
Keep in mind that when I say “confidence,” I’m not talking about just putting on a happy face. I’m talking about the confidence in your future that comes from owning up to all you have going for you, and that includes your precious potential to serve.
This is miles apart from the typical culture of the “nonprofit” world, where we’re usually focused on what’s wrong and how we can make do with less.
If you step back and take a little time to recharge and think differently, you will come from a stronger place. (This makes it much easier for you to inspire other people, so they want to get involved and contribute.)
Doing this will push aside the external factors that everyone thinks is their reality … and open up new possibilities for your organization or cause (and for you).
